The Three Tiers of Pairs and Their Odds
Perfect Pairs payouts are divided into three distinct categories based on how closely the two cards match. The highest tier is the Perfect Pair, which requires two identical cards of the same rank and suit. Below that is the Colored Pair, where cards share the same rank and color but have different suits. The lowest winning tier is the Mixed Pair, which share only the rank.
- Perfect Pair: Two identical cards, such as two Queens of Spades, paying 25 to 1.
- Colored Pair: Same rank and color, like a Queen of Hearts and a Queen of Diamonds, paying 12 to 1.
- Mixed Pair: Same rank but different colors, like a Queen of Clubs and a Queen of Diamonds, paying 6 to 1.
