How the Perfect Pairs Side Bet Works
To participate in this side bet, you must first place a standard blackjack bet in the main circle. You cannot play the side bet on its own. You then place a smaller wager, such as ₱50 or ₱100, in the designated Perfect Pairs circle. Once the dealer starts the round, they will deal two face-up cards to you and two cards to themselves. The game immediately checks your two cards to see if they form a pair. If your first two cards have the same numerical value or face value, you win the side bet. For example, getting two Jacks or two Sevens makes you a winner. If your first two cards are different, like a Jack and a King, you lose your side bet immediately. The dealer collects your losing side bet, and the main blackjack game continues as normal. You can still win your main hand even if you lose the side bet, and vice versa.
- Main Bet Requirement: You must place a standard blackjack bet before you can put money on the Perfect Pairs option.
- Two-Card Resolution: The side bet is decided solely on your first two cards, ignoring any subsequent cards you draw.
- Independent Outcome: Winning or losing the side bet has no effect on your main blackjack hand outcome.
